I started my school years at Folk Shul from kindergarten to Grade 3 then went to Peretz on Aberdeen for Grade 4 dayschool then night school Grade 5 and 6 then they convinced us to goto hechara coursin and back to Folk shul for Grade 7. I was the class valedictorian at graduation.

My fondest memories are of going to the Freitug Tzu Nach with the white paper tables and then to Tadman's Drug store to fool around. I also remember going to the auditorium for lots of singing. In grade six we had a class of girls and two boys Arnie Kurtz and Hersh Lerner . Chaver Lapin would try to control the class and teach us Warsaw Getto songs and about the Holocaust but he had a hard time with us.

I went on after I was married to teach at Ramah school as a gym teacher for 25 years. The Jewish tradition is being carried on by our daughter Kayla, Artistic Director of the Wpg. Jewish Theatre .We have two sons. One in Toronto and one in California.
