I met my husband Jack at the Peretz school in 1942. I was fourteen years old at the time. We were at a party . He asked me to dance. We married in 1947. He was a choir director at Shaarey Zedek for 18 years. I also played in the percussion band. I taught first and second grade Yiddish when I graduated from hechere cursen . Moishe Cohen was the secretary at the time. He was also choir director at the Peretz School when I met him. Keep up the good work.
